Farnham Area

Upper Hale is set on the northern fringes of the former market town of Farnham.

Being the most westerly town in Surrey, and at one end of the North Downs Way, Farnham benefits from excellent road and rail links whilst retaining much of its original charm and character.

The bustling town centre has an array of popular High Street shops together with restaurants, cafes and traditional pubs all set alongside fine examples of Georgian architecture.

The Maltings, beside the River Wey, is now a lively arts centre where concerts and exhibitions may be enjoyed as well as frequent craft fairs and markets.

There are a wealth of sports facilities and clubs available centred around Farnham Sports Centre.

Close to the town centre is the historical Farnham Park which also contains a public, par 3 golf course.

Within easy access are well known beauty spots such as Alice Holt Forest and Frensham Ponds, plus acres of wonderful open heathland and forest ideal for walking and cycling.

Farnham is located just off the main A31, with the M3 motorway (approximately 9 miles) providing motorway links to the M25, Heathrow and Central London.

The mainline station provides commuter links to London Waterloo (journey time approximately 55 minutes).
